Combining a number of architectural styles, Siena Cathedral is one of the finest churches in Italy. Built in the 13th century, its magnificent facade is matched by a dazzling interior with tall columns of black and white stripes and a pulpit made of marble.
One of the main sights in the city of Siena in Tuscany, it reaches a height of 77 metres and its architects included Giovanni Pisano. |
