Palazzo Vecchio Tower

The Palazzo Vecchio Tower in Florence was built in 1299 and reaches to a height of 94 metres. Also known as Arnolfo's Tower in consideration of its architect Arnolfo di Cambio, it protrudes from the Palazzo Vecchio on Piazza della Signoria.
You can climb the bell tower's 233 steps for great views of the city and also see the little alborghetto that was once used as a prison. |
